After the destruction of the 4th Armored Brigade the previous day, the 5th South African Brigade dug in just east of Sidi Rezegh, directly in the path of the advancing 21st Panzer. On the afternoon of the 23rd, the 21st made its bid to punch through the South Africans.
Objectives: The attack on your sector will be supported by three Sturmgeschutz sections. Your company will move east and take the crossroads village. Your platoon will move to the objective. If possible, find suitable ground cover for your platoon while the Sturmgeschutz sections attempt to suppress or destroy the enemy antitank positions.
